The neutral premium sun control film ensures a high light gain and low heat radiation. The heat development in the building can be efficiently reduced and the energy efficiency of the installed window glazing can be sustainably increased. Energy and electricity consumption for air conditioning systems can be saved permanently in this way.

What’s special: neutral look without a mirror effect

The innovative sun protection for windows is self-adhesive and regulates the room temperature by shielding solar energy. The neutral design ensures a clear view and a neutral look without a mirror effect. Modern and listed buildings in particular benefit from an almost unchanged building appearance. Because: The high-performance film E-Lite 45 Xtra, which is applied from the outside, is hardly noticeable to the naked eye after it has been applied.

Long durability and manufacturer’s guarantee

The sun control film has a durability of 10 years or more when used outdoors on vertical glazing (normal Central European climate). When attached to slanted glazing outdoors, the durability is reduced accordingly due to the higher environmental impact.

Regardless of the long durability, a manufacturer’s guarantee of 7 years for vertical and 3 years for inclined glass surfaces is granted. The guarantee applies to peeling and yellowing of the high-performance film if the edges of the film are sealed all around with silicone.

Retrofitting the window film in a few steps

The bubble-free retrofitting of the window film is carried out using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be glued and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls

In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!

Shopping linear meters from the roll

Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.

Step 1: At “LINEAR METERS”, select the roll width “1.22 m”.

Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field “Add to cart”.

Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.

You then buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.

Ordering millimeter cuttingss

Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: Your window measures 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size is then 1.396 m wide x 1.996 m high.

Step 1: Select “1.52” m roll width at “LINEAR METERS”.

Step 2: Enter “2.00” m at “Add to cart”.

Step 3: Enter width, height and number of pieces, i.e. “1.396 m x 1.996 m, 1 piece” at “CUTTINGS” (free text field).

Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.

You then buy 2.00 linear film meters with a width of 1.52 meters, which are cut to 1 film piece with the desired size of 1.996 m long and 1.396 m wide. The ordered linear meters and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.

Have whole film rolls delivered

Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. To do this, please enter the desired numbers of roll pieces at WHOLE ROLLS. You also can send us an email to service@vonkuester.de. We will then send you an offer that you can then order. Cutting whole rolls to a specific roll width is also possible on request, please contact us.

Free film sample

If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm).
