Description
Self-adhesive blackout film in opaque deep black
The high-performance film is opaque and completely dark. It is self-adhesive and is subsequently installed to glass surfaces. This film has a black adhesive side and a white outside. The film is ideal for darkening window panes in photo laboratories, print shops, etc. The material does not reveal any outlines behind it after it has been applied. Thanks to its special adhesive, the weather-resistant film can be easily removed even after several years of use. The privacy film has a scratch-resistant surface. It is extremely durable, easy to clean and has a long service life.
Ideal as panel material in illuminated advertising
The self-adhesive Aslan W15 BLOCKOUT film is characterized by its absolute opacity. It therefore offers the best conditions for use as a cover material in illuminated advertising. This is particularly true for backlit surfaces such as light boxes. The effective blocking out of light makes the film a flexible alternative to milled metal panels. The material is plottable and can be ideally used for creating lettering, logos and motifs.

Installation of the blackout film in a few steps
The adhesive film can be applied dry or wet without bubbles. In any case, thoroughly clean the surface to be glued. Peel off the protective film on the back. When wet gluing, spray the surface and the adhesive side with some installation fluid. Then apply the foil and onto the surface. Smooth everything out using a squeegee starting from the middle, leaving no bubbles and wiping dry, done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls
In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!
Shopping linear meters from the roll
Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.
Step 1: At “LINEAR METERS”, select the roll width “1.22 m”.
Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.
Ordering millimeter cuttingss
Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: Your window measures 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size is then 1.396 m wide x 1.996 m high.
Step 1: Select “1.52” m roll width at “LINEAR METERS”.
Step 2: Enter “2.00” m at “Add to cart”.
Step 3: Enter width, height and number of pieces, i.e. “1.396 m x 1.996 m, 1 piece” at “CUTTINGS” (free text field).
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.00 linear film meters with a width of 1.52 meters, which are cut to 1 film piece with the desired size of 1.996 m long and 1.396 m wide. The ordered linear meters and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.
Have whole film rolls delivered
Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. To do this, please enter the desired numbers of roll pieces at WHOLE ROLLS. You also can send us an email to service@vonkuester.de. We will then send you an offer that you can then order. Cutting whole rolls to a specific roll width is also possible on request, please contact us.
Free film sample
If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm).
