Description

Privacy film in a classic etched glass optics

The self-adhesive privacy film is ideal for the exclusive decoration of window panes and glass surfaces. The classic etched glass optics of this film transforms clear glass into sandblasted glass in no time after bonding. The reduced surface shine with metal pigmentation creates a subtle glitter effect. The adhesive film is translucent, but not transparent: It allows rough and shadowy outlines to be seen in the immediate vicinity, which disappear completely as the distance increases. Cleaning and care are carried out with water and conventional glass cleaning agents.

Sanblasting film for universal applications

The sandblasting film can be used universally: it is ideally suited for window installations. As well as for applications as creating plotted motifs and lettering. The film can be applied universal dry or wet interior and exterior. It is easy to clean and, thanks to its special adhesive, can be removed without leaving any residue even after several years of use.

The privacy film etched glass optics sets impressive accents in creative glass design. It is used to design window panes, shop windows, glass doors, mirrors and glass partitions. Typical areas of application for the glass decorative film are smooth glass panes in offices, shops, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, banks, department stores, airports.

Installation of the privacy film in a few steps

The privacy film can be installed dry or wet. In any case, thoroughly clean the surface to be coated. When wet gluing, spray the surface with a little installation fluid. Peel off the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach to the window. Smooth everything out using a squeegee starting from the middle, leaving no bubbles and wiping dry, done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls

In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!

Shopping linear meters from the roll

Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.

Step 1: At “LINEAR METERS”, select the roll width “1.22 m”.

Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field “Add to cart”.

Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.

You then buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.

Ordering millimeter cuttingss

Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: Your window measures 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size is then 1.396 m wide x 1.996 m high.

Step 1: Select “1.52” m roll width at “LINEAR METERS”.

Step 2: Enter “2.00” m at “Add to cart”.

Step 3: Enter width, height and number of pieces, i.e. “1.396 m x 1.996 m, 1 piece” at “CUTTINGS” (free text field).

Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.

You then buy 2.00 linear film meters with a width of 1.52 meters, which are cut to 1 film piece with the desired size of 1.996 m long and 1.396 m wide. The ordered linear meters and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.

Have whole film rolls delivered

Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. To do this, please enter the desired numbers of roll pieces at WHOLE ROLLS. You also can send us an email to service@vonkuester.de. We will then send you an offer that you can then order. Cutting whole rolls to a specific roll width is also possible on request, please contact us.

Free film sample

If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm).
