Self-adhesive window films are installed using the wet bonding method:
- Thoroughly clean the window surface to be coated and spray it with some installation fluid.
- Remove the protective liner on the back and spray the adhesive side with installation fluid.
- Position the glass film on the window so that it has a distance of 1-2 mm from the edge all around.
- Using a squeegee, squeeze everything out from the middle to the edge until there are no bubbles, wipe everything dry, and you're done.
Static window films are installed in the same order, with the difference that no installation fluid is required, water is enough.

⭐ Why does the window film not stick?
- All window films are covered with a thin transparent protective liner on the back. Please check if you have removed the protective liner before installation. If not, install the glass film without the protective liner.
- Another reason could be that the window pane has not been cleaned thoroughly enough. Please check if the glass pane is free of dust, grease and dirt. If not, clean it again before installation.

🧽 How do I care for my window film?
With the correct care, window films last a particularly long time. The following tips will help:
- 💦 Always clean the film surface with a wet cloth. Small particles can cause scratches when cleaned with a dry cloth.
- 🧴 Do not use aggressive cleaning agents that contain abrasive particles. A mild detergent or conventional glass cleaner is ideal.
- 💧 The best way to clean it is with plenty of water. A rubber squeegee and commercial glass cleaning products are suitable tools.
- 🧽 For best results, wipe from the center to the edge. Any excess water or dirt will be washed out.
- 🗓️ To maintain the clarity of exterior flat glass films, perform the cleaning described above 3-4 times a year.
🗑️ How do I remove window films?
To remove the window film from the glass pane without leaving any residue, first remove it from the glass surface at one corner. Then pull the glass film off the glass surface evenly in one continuous movement. Heating the film with a hot air dryer at the same time makes the process easier. After peeling it off, residues of the adhesive layer may remain on the glass. These can be removed at the end with a glass cleaning scraper and glass cleaning agent. For stubborn film residues, an adhesive residue remover from the hardware store will help.
