Sun control in bronze – ideal for south windows

The sun control film bathes the glass surface on the inside in a warm color of dark bronze. It is therefore ideal for buildings with south-facing windows. The brightness on this side of the building ideally compensates for the loss of light caused by the sun protection film. This ensures a sufficiently high level of daylight permeability.

The mirror effect on the outside also provides elegant privacy protection. If there is a permanent clear view of the outside, no insight is possible during the day. The strong mirror coating on the outside ensures a reduction in heat development on the window by a powerful 83%. The room temperature can be permanently reduced after installing the window film. This energy efficiency can completely eliminate the need to purchase expensive air conditioning systems.

Weather-resistant for exterior installations

The sun control film is weather-resistant and therefore ideal for laying on the outside of window panes. It was developed using the latest technology and has a specially hardened surface. The solar control film is therefore easy to clean with water and glass cleaning agent and has a long service life if properly cared for.

Long durability and manufacturer’s guarantee

The sun control film has a durability of 10 years or more when used outdoors on vertical glazing (normal Central European climate). When installed to slanted glazing outdoors, the durability is reduced accordingly due to the higher environmental impact.

Regardless of the long durability, a manufacturer’s guarantee of 4 years for vertical and 2.5 years for inclined glass surfaces is granted. The guarantee applies to peeling, yellowing and demetallization of the high-performance film if the edges of the film are sealed all around with silicone.

Retrofitting the window film in a few steps

The bubble-free retrofitting of the window film is carried out using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be coated and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.
