Sun control film in dark titanium for south windows

The sun control film is self-adhesive and has a transparent color in dark titanium. It is therefore particularly suitable for window panes that face south. The brightness on this side of the building ensures that the loss of light caused by the sun control film can be compensated very well. This ensures a sufficiently high level of daylight permeability.

Dual-reflective properties characterize this film. It offers a neutral appearance on the room side without annoying light reflections. On the outside, the highly mirrored look provides elegant privacy protection. No visibility is possible in daylight. A permanent clear view of the outside is ensured from the inside. The weather-resistant heat protection film is attached to the outside of window panes. The highly reflective surface is a prerequisite for 69% of heat to be shielded from windows and glass panes. Long durability and manufacturer’s guarantee

The sun control film has a durability of 10 years or more when used outdoors on vertical glazing (normal Central European climate). When attached to slanted glazing outdoors, the durability is reduced accordingly due to the higher environmental impact.

Regardless of the long durability, a manufacturer’s guarantee of 5 years for vertical and 3 years for inclined glass surfaces is granted (in the fifth year 30% of the film value). The guarantee applies to peeling, yellowing and demetallization of the high-performance film if the edges of the film are sealed all around with silicone.

Application of the window film in just a few steps

The window film is installed without bubbles using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be glued and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.
