The Oracal 8510 is a calendered (rolled) specialty PVC film with polymeric non-wall plasticizers. The material ensures uniform coloring in reflected and transmitted light. The film thickness is 0.08 mm, the maximum shrinkage value in the direction of travel is only 0.2 mm. The cover material is a single-sided coated special silicone cardboard with a basis weight of 137 g/m². A trouble-free removal of the gitter is guaranteed. The glasdecor foil is temperature-resistant in the range of -40 °C to + 90 °C and easy to clean with conventional, not too aggressive cleaning agents. Even after several years of use, the glass decorative film can be removed without residue due to the special adhesive.

For optimal results, the application of the sandblast film is recommended in the wet-gluing process. If used without transfer paper, it is recommended to attach the Oracal 8510 with a squeegee. This avoids scratches on the surface of the film. In any case clean the surface to be plastered extensively. For wet bonding, spray the surface with a little release agent and lubricant. Peel off the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach to the window. Smooth out all bubbles with a squeegee from the middle and wipe dry, finished. A possible whitening of the adhesive disappears within a few days.
