HOW IT ALL STARTED
Today’s von Kuester KG Folientechnik began its activities in 1978 as a sole proprietorship. The sales activities were subsequently expanded to include the installation of window films with different functions (sun control, privacy protection, glare reduction, glass security, color design and bird protection) for glass surfaces.
Due to the constantly increasing demand for these products, the business activities focused on the sales and installation of window films and sun control paints. The product range was supplemented by the necessary tools and aids for installing the window films. The film technology product portfolio was later expanded to include multifunctional roller blind systems (heat control, glare reduction, blackout).
The resulting expansion of the company made it necessary to move to larger, company-owned premises in 1987. The sole proprietorship was converted into a limited partnership in 1988. Today, von Kuester KG employs several people in administration, sales and installation. The company is divided into the product areas of architecture, security, decoration and automobile.
The delivery and installation of the special films, sun control paints and roller blind systems takes place in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A quality management system that complies with DIN EN ISO 9001:2001 was introduced for the business in 2001. Due to the consistent pursuit of this business strategy, the Kuester KG company has been one of the market leaders for the professional sales and installation of window films since 1978.
