Installation: Step by step installation of color foils

Of course, the simple installation is not neglected either. Color foils can be installed without great effort. They are self-adhesive and are coated using the so-called wet installaiton process. Read here how to proceed step by step with the installation:

1. Thoroughly clean the surface to be coated and spray it with release and lubricant agent (installation fluid).
2. Cut the film in that way that the edges of the film have a circumferential distance of 1-2 mm to the edge.
3. Then peel off the protective film on the back of the foil and also spray the adhesive side with installation fluid.
4. Apply the wet foil to the sprayed window and position it in that way that it is in the right place on the pane.
5. Squeeze everything bubble-free with a squeegee. Starting evenly from the center to the outside of the foil.
6. Finally, all you have to do is wipe the wet edges dry, and the installation of the self-adhesive coating is done.

Care-tips: How color foils last a long time

4. The best results are achieved when wiping from the center of the foil to its edge. This is an ideal way to wash out excess water or dirt.
5. In order to permanently maintain the cleanliness outdoors, we recommend doing the cleaning described above 3-4 times a year.
