💡 Tip: The self-adhesive film is ideal for plotter devices. When plotting the adhesive foil, you should work with increased knife pressure and set the plotter knife to a thick quality.

Film surface: High-gloss & scratch-resistant

The excellent quality distinguishes all of our mirror films. The film surface is specially hardened and therefore particularly scratch-resistant. This is the prerequisite for maintaining the brilliant mirror effect over the long term. The high scratch resistance also guarantees easy care and cleaning. The films can be cleaned and cleaned at any time with conventional glass cleaning agents and water. Due to the high scratch resistance, no additional protection (application tape) is required when gluing large areas.

Choose between classic silver and elegant gold finishes. Like the silver variant, the golden version is also characterized by a particularly scratch-resistant surface and a mirror effect with an extremely high degree of gloss.

Variant: Spy mirror for one-sided view

A special highlight are spy mirror films for glass and window panes. These films are highly reflective window films that can be stuck inside or outside. During the day it is brighter outside than inside and the sunlight is reflected by the reflective foil. It is therefore not possible to see from the outside in daylight. The mirror effect provides an elegant privacy screen.

If you look from the inside to the outside, the silver-grey coloring of the window pane allows a one-sided and free view to the outside. When there is more light inside than outside at night, the mirror effect is reversed. To prevent this, you must use artificial light to ensure that it is brighter outside than inside, e.g. through street lighting, spotlights or floodlights.

These films are also self-adhesive. They are extremely scratch-resistant and have a long service life.

Installation: Simple gluing of the mirror film

The foils are easy to process and can be glued in just a few steps. In order for the mirror effect of the film to come into its own as best as possible, the surface to be bonded should be smooth, level, inflexible, firm and not curved.

1. Clean the surface to be installed thoroughly and spray it with release agent and lubricant.
2. For window frames, cut the film so that the edges of the film are 1-2 mm from the edges.
3. Peel off the protective film on the back of the adhesive film and also spray the adhesive side.
4. Apply the wet foil to the sprayed surface and position it to the desired final position.
5. Squeeze everything out bibble-free with a squeegee, starting from the center to the edges.
6. Finally, all you have to do is wipe everything dry and the installtion is done.

💡 Tip: Moistening the backside (cover) reduces static charges when removing the protective film. Dust particles are then attracted significantly less and cannot get under the film.
