Installation: Step by step installation of flat glass films

Flat glass foils are attached without great effort. They are attached using the so-called wet installation process. Read here how to install them in sequence:

1. Cut the film to size with the edges of the film having an all around a distance of 1 – 2 mm to the window frame (rubber).
2. Then clean the surface to be glued thoroughly and spray it with release and lubricant agent (installation liquid).
3. Then peel off the protective film on the back of the foil and also spray the adhesive side with installation liquid.
4. Apply the wet coating to the sprayed window and position it so that it has the final place on the window pane.
5. Squeeze everything bubble free with a squeegee. Starting from the center to the outer side of the foil edge.
6. Finally, the wet edges have to be wiped dry with a towel and the installation of the flat glass coating is done.
