If the light conditions are reversed, the spy mirror effect is also reversed: This always happens in two rooms separated by a window when the light is switched off in the lighter room and is switched on in the darker room. Likewise, when it is darker outside than inside at night, because the light is turned on inside the building. If the lighting conditions are approximately the same, the mirror effect is neutralized to a certain extent.
