Description
Certified 1B1 safety film according to EN 12600: 2000
The safety film is self-adhesive and has crystal-clear optics. It was specially developed for outdoor installation and is resistant to weather influences. The flat glass film is certified and meets resistance class 1B1 according to EN 12600: 2000. Glass fragments stick to the film and do not get thrown into the room. Windows and glass panes are thus given the property of splinter-binding or anti-throw-through glazings.
The high-performance film has a specially hardened surface. The surface is therefore scratch-resistant, a prerequisite for easy cleaning with conventional glass cleaning agents.
Tip: For window panes in high-risk traffic we recommend coating the glass surfaces on both sides. Laying an inner film on one side and attaching an outer film on the other side offers double protection.
Outside installable hail protection for roof top glazings
The security film is tear-resistant and sticks strongly to the glass surface. In case of violence the window pane is held together. Premature disintegration of the glass pane is prevented. In case of hail damage, the high-performance film can prevent water from unhindered entering the room. Installed on the outside of roof glazing, the anti-shatter film thus provides effective hail protection. Water damage to floors and carpets can be effectively prevented.

Installation of the window film in a few steps
The bubble-free installation of the window film takes place in the so-called wet adhesive process. Clean the surface and spray it with a little installation fluid. Peel off the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side as well with fluid and attach it to the glass surface. Squeeze everything bubble free with the rakel and wipe everything dry, done. Any white coloring of the adhesive disappears within a few days.
Tip: The connection of the safety film to the window frame ensures the resistance power: depending on the type of window, the safety film is either laid under the glazing bead or a special seal is carried out. To do this, the film is installed next to the window frame (2-3 mm distance). After this the film is sealed with a silicone border all around.
