The Birdpen allows bird protection with a felt-tip pen

The birdpen has been developed for smaller glass surfaces in the private sector. It prevents deadly collisions of birds on glass surfaces by up to 70%. The birdpen provides an easy handling as with a normal felt tip marker. It allows – applied in stripe pattern – a quick and easy bird protection. The pattern is transparent and virtually unnoticeable to the human eye. The birdpen colours the glass surface with an only for birds visible uv-marking

Durability of the birdpen on the glass surface

The markings get visible by soiling and aging by the time. Therefore about every 3 -6 months the cleaning and removal of the markings with a window cleaner or glass scraper is necessary. After the cleaning the markings have to be applied again to ensure the optimal effect. The birdpen ist sufficient for about 10 sqm.

Simple use and application of the birdpen

• Application of a vertical stripe pattern on the outside of the glass surface.

• Maintaining of a 6 – 8 cm large spacing between the single stripes.

• Attaching the birdpen at right angels to the end of the window pane.

• Guidance of the birdpen slowly and evenly to the bottom of the glass surface.

• Avoiding of coating of already coated areas on the window pane.

• Application instructions for the birdpen are free part of each delivery.
