Ideal sun control for south windows in dark grey

The sun control film is self-adhesive and permanently ensures an excellent panorama view. It is ideal for use on residential and commercial buildings that are equipped with south-facing windows. The brightness on the south side compensates very well for the loss of light caused by the sun control film. Unpleasant glare and heat build-up when exposed to sunlight are significantly reduced without affecting the clear view of the outside. The Cold Steel film offers excellent solar energy rejection with a weak reflection for a subtle presence.

With 70% rejection of solar energy, the quality film ensures a very good reduction in heat development when installed indoors. Ongoing energy and electricity costs for building air conditioning can be saved permanently due to the lower utilization. The energy efficiency of the installed window glazing is sustainably improved.

Excellent UV-filter against premature fading

The window film is equipped with excellent UV protection against premature fading of the interior: 99% of aggressive UVA and UVB radiation are effectively blocked. The specially hardened film surface guarantees a long service life and easy cleaning with conventional glass cleaning agents.

Retrofitting the window film in a few steps

The bubble-free retrofitting of the window film is carried out using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be glued and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.
