Ideally suited for south-facing window panes

The sun control film is self-adhesive and is attached to the outside of the window. It has a transparent color that is kept in a dark silver grey. The high-performance film is particularly suitable for window panes that are located on the south side of the house. The brightness on this side of the building ideally compensates for the loss of light caused by the sun control film. This ensures a sufficiently high level of daylight permeability.

The mirror effect also provide elegant privacy protection. It is not possible to see from outside in daylight. A permanent clear view of the outside is ensured from the inside.

Mirrorized sun control for maximum efficiency

The mirrored appearance ensures maximum rejection of heat, sun glare and UV rays. Once installed, the room temperatures can be permanently reduced. The guarantee for the improved indoor climate is 81% rejected solar energy. Air conditioning systems reach the preferred temperature in even less time, they run less often and for less time. The improved energy efficiency of the window panes leads to reduced heat development in the building. In this way, energy consumption and electricity costs for air conditioning systems can be saved permanently.

Long durability and manufacturer’s guarantee

All XTRA models have a durability of 10 years or more when used on vertical outdoor glazing, all PREMIUM models of 7 years (normal Central European climate). When attached to slanted glazing outdoors, the durability is reduced accordingly due to the higher environmental impact.

Regardless of durability, all XTRA models come with a manufacturer’s guarantee of 7 years for vertical and 4 years for inclined glass surfaces. All PREMIUM models have a guarantee of 3 years for vertical and 2 years for inclined glass surfaces. The guarantee applies to peeling, yellowing and demetallization when the edges of the film are sealed with silicone.

Installation of the window film in a few steps

The window film is installed without bubbles using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be coated and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.
