The self-adhesive sun control film elegantly adapts to the look of the building facade. When viewed from the outside, a slight mirror effect is noticeable to the human eye. With its neutral color in light silver gray, the solar control film has an excellent interior view. The elegant color ensures very good daylight permeability and enables light-flooded interiors. It is therefore particularly suitable for projects where lots of daylight and pleasant sun protection are important.

Enjoy more living comfort and indoor climate with a permanent clear view of the outside. The flat glass film repels 54% of warm solar energy on the window when exposed to sunlight. The heat development in the building is permanently reduced. Energy and electricity consumption for air conditioning systems can be permanently reduced. The energy efficiency of the installed window glazing is sustainably improved.

The high-performance film was specially developed for exterior installation. It has a scratch-resistant surface, which is a prerequisite for long durability and easy cleaning with conventional glass cleaning products.

Long durability and manufacturer’s guarantee

The solar control film has a durability of 10 years or more when used on vertical glazing outdoors (normal Central European climate). When attached to slanted glazing outdoors, the durability is reduced accordingly due to the higher environmental impact.

Regardless of the long durability, a manufacturer’s guarantee of 4 years for vertical and 3 years for inclined glass surfaces is granted. The guarantee applies to peeling, yellowing and demetallization of the high-performance film if the edges of the film are sealed all around with silicone.

Installation of the window film in a few steps

The window film is installed without bubbles using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be coated and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.
