OptiLite 75 Xtra: Sun control for lots of daylight

Long durability and manufacturer’s guarantee

The sun control film has a durability of 10 years or more when used outdoors on vertical glazing (normal Central European climate). When installed to slanted glazing outdoors, the durability is reduced accordingly due to the higher environmental impact.

Regardless of the long durability, a manufacturer’s guarantee of 5 years for vertical and 2.5 years for inclined glass surfaces is granted. The guarantee applies to peeling and yellowing of the high-performance film if the edges of the film are sealed all around with silicone.

The installation is done in a few steps

The window film is installed without bubbles using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be glued and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.
