UV filter film for UV protection up to 500 nanometers
The UV filter film was developed for protection in the low visible light wave range: daylight is visible to the human eye in the light wave range around approx. 380 nanometers. Crystal clear and tinted UV protective films can block UV radiation up to approx. 380 nanometers. The UV filter film Amber also protects against UV radiation up to approx. 500 nanometers. In this area, the high-performance film provides additional UV protection of around 95%. The UV film has a scratch-resistant surface, which is a prerequisite for long durability and easy cleaning with conventional glass cleaning agents.
Various application areas of the self-adhesive UV film
The amber yellow colored UV filter film is ideal for protection against UV radiation in medical operating rooms, research laboratories, clean rooms and institutes. It is equally suitable for pharmaceutical packaging and for protecting radiation-sensitive production processes in the photo, circuit board and chip industries.
Note: According to the statutory accident insurance association, UV filter films are not suitable for splinter protection. For this purpose, we recommend using self-adhesive anti-shatter films.

The installation is done in a few steps
The window film is installed without bubbles using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be coated and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and apply it to the glass surface. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.
