Description
Safety film for windows against glass splinters & burglary
The safety film is self-adhesive and is applied to windows and glass panes on the room side. It was developed to protect against glass splinters, burglary and theft: The multi-layer security film multiplies the resistance value of the coated window surface. The extremely adhesive layer of the high-performance film ensures a very high splinter bond. The dangerous flying glass splinters, which lead to bodily injury or property damage in the event of accidental or deliberate use of force, can be effectively contained. This protective effect means that burglars can also be effectively repelled, as it is much more difficult to smash the glass pane. The glass film has a specially hardened surface that can be cleaned at any time with conventional glass cleaning agents.
Tip: For windows that are at high risk from pedestrian traffic, we recommend coating the glass surfaces on both sides. Laying an inner film on one side and attaching an outer film on the other offers double protection.
Certified 1B1 safety film according to EN 12600:2000
The tested safety film meets the requirements for impact-resistant glazing. It meets the EU standard EN 12600:2000, resistance class 1B1 (pendulum impact test). It is recognized by the statutory accident insurance association as a splinter-binding measure. The fire behaviour of the crystal-clear shatter protection film is classified as flame-retardant. An integrated UV filter layer protects objects in the interior against premature fading.

Installation of the window film in just a few steps
The window film is installed bubble-free using the so-called wet adhesive method. Thoroughly clean the surface to be glued and spray it with a little installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Smooth everything out from the middle with a squeegee until there are no bubbles and wipe it dry. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.
Special feature when installing the safety film
To ensure high resistance, we recommend either laying it under the glass strip (e.g. for window frames made of plastic or metal) or laying the safety film on the window frame with an additional silicone border (e.g. for window frames made of wood). Detailed installation instructions for splinter protection films from 200 my are included free of charge with every delivery.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls
In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!
Shopping linear meters from the roll
Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.
Step 1: At “LINEAR METERS”, select the roll width “1.22 m”.
Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.
Ordering millimeter cuttingss
Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: Your window measures 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size is then 1.396 m wide x 1.996 m high.
Step 1: Select “1.52” m roll width at “LINEAR METERS”.
Step 2: Enter “2.00” m at “Add to cart”.
Step 3: Enter width, height and number of pieces, i.e. “1.396 m x 1.996 m, 1 piece” at “CUTTINGS” (free text field).
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.00 linear film meters with a width of 1.52 meters, which are cut to 1 film piece with the desired size of 1.996 m long and 1.396 m wide. The ordered linear meters and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.
Have whole film rolls delivered
Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. Cutting whole rolls to a specific roll width is also possible on request, please contact us.
Free film sample
If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm).
