Description
Bird protection film dots in black-orange
The bird protection film offers professional bird protection for larger glass surfaces. It prevents the often fatal collisions between birds and glass panes. The pattern consists of dots in black and orange, which are equally visible to humans and birds. The rows of dots are arranged vertically and are perceived by birds as an obstacle. The result is that they can recognize the stuck-on glass pane in time and fly around it.
Licensed solution no. 1 Eckelt 4BIRD®-V3066
The design was tested in flight tunnel tests using the “Test method of the Hohenau-Ringeldorf Biological Station through the flight tunnel II”. The certified black double dot rows, which are protected by the Eckelt 4BIRD®-V3066 design, prevent bird strikes on glass surfaces in a highly effective manner (approaches in the test facility 2.4%). They therefore represent an ecologically sustainable solution for preventing fatal bird strikes.
Long durability and guarantee of the measure
The film is self-adhesive and resistant to humidity and condensation. It does not lose its adhesive strength even with large temperature fluctuations. Due to its high-quality workmanship, the bird protection film is long-lasting. It has a scratch-resistant surface, which is a prerequisite for easy cleaning with conventional glass cleaning agents.

The size and arrangement of the dots are crucial
• An important criterion for the success of the bird protection film is, among other things, the thickness and the distance between the rows of dots. The distance between the individual markings must not be changed in order not to impair the high effectiveness.
• We would like to point out that individual, widely spaced bird of prey silhouettes are not suitable for deterring birds from flying through. One reason is that the bird of prey silhouettes do not move and therefore have no deterrent effect. Another reason is that if the distances are too small, birds are fooled into thinking they can fly through.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls
In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!
Shopping linear meters from the roll
Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.
Step 1: At “LINEAR METERS”, select the roll width “1.22 m”.
Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.
Ordering millimeter cuttingss
Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: Your window measures 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size is then 1.396 m wide x 1.996 m high.
Step 1: Select “1.52” m roll width at “LINEAR METERS”.
Step 2: Enter “2.00” m at “Add to cart”.
Step 3: Enter width, height and number of pieces, i.e. “1.396 m x 1.996 m, 1 piece” at “CUTTINGS” (free text field).
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.00 linear film meters with a width of 1.52 meters, which are cut to 1 film piece with the desired size of 1.996 m long and 1.396 m wide. The ordered linear meters and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.
Have whole film rolls delivered
Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. Free film sample
If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm).
