Oracal 8510-090 Etched Glass Cal for individual glass decoration
The self-adhesive glass decorative film is ideally suited for the exclusive decoration of window panes and glass surfaces. The reduced surface gloss with metal pigmentation ensures a discreet glitter effect. The adhesive film avoids unwanted reflections and is equally suitable for full-surface installation as well as for processing in cutting plotter machines. The glass decoration film in sandblasted look sets impressive accents in the creative interior design. It serves the design of shop windows, glass doors, mirrors u.v.a. smooth surfaces in indoor and outdoor areas. As well as privacy screen, to design logos in offices, shops, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, banks, department stores, airports. With the Oracal 8510-090 decorative foil in silver, these tasks are professional and of high quality.
Calendered special pvc-film with high dimensional stability
The Oracal 8510 is a calendered (rolled) specialty PVC film with polymeric non-wall plasticizers. The material ensures uniform coloring in reflected and transmitted light. The film thickness is 0.08 mm, the maximum shrinkage value in the direction of travel is only 0.2 mm. The cover material is a single-sided coated special silicone cardboard with a basis weight of 137 g/m². A trouble-free removal of the gitter is guaranteed. The glasdecor foil is temperature-resistant in the range of -40 °C to + 90 °C and easy to clean with conventional, not too aggressive cleaning agents. Even after several years of use, the glass decorative film can be removed without residue due to the special adhesive.

Processesing of the Oracal 8510 in the wet gluing process
For optimal results, the application of the sandblast film is recommended in the wet-gluing process. If used without transfer paper, it is recommended to attach the Oracal 8510 with a squeegee. This avoids scratches on the surface of the film. In any case clean the surface to be plastered extensively. For wet bonding, spray the surface with a little release agent and lubricant. Peel off the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach to the window. Smooth out all bubbles with a squeegee from the middle and wipe dry, finished. A possible whitening of the adhesive disappears within a few days.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls
In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!
Shopping linear meters from the roll
Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.
Step 1: At “LINEAR METERS”, select the roll width “1.22 m”.
Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.
Ordering millimeter cuttingss
Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: Your window measures 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size is then 1.396 m wide x 1.996 m high.
Step 1: Select “1.52” m roll width at “LINEAR METERS”.
Step 2: Enter “2.00” m at “Add to cart”.
Step 3: Enter width, height and number of pieces, i.e. “1.396 m x 1.996 m, 1 piece” at “CUTTINGS” (free text field).
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.00 linear film meters with a width of 1.52 meters, which are cut to 1 film piece with the desired size of 1.996 m long and 1.396 m wide. The ordered linear meters and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.
Have whole film rolls delivered
Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm).
