Sun control film in light grey for a view-free panorama

This high-quality sun control film in light grey ensures pleasant 49% sun protection on the window. The high daylight permeability enables a sensationally view-free panorama. Inside the room, annoying sun glare caused by sunlight shining through is prevented. Due to the reduced radiation of solar energy, the room temperature is noticeably improved. In summer, therefore, fewer energy costs for air conditioning are necessary. The Cold Steel heat control film is extremely easy to clean and completely operation and maintenance free.

Neutral color developed in U.S. patented process

The neutral color of the Cold Steel 50 was developed in a U.S. patented process. When viewed from the inside, only an inconspicuous light gray tint of the panoramic film on the coated window pane is noticeable. The weak reflection of the film in daylight enables the pleasant and neutral appearance: the external appearance of the glass surface and that of the building are hardly changed.

Installation of the window film in a few steps

The bubble-free installation of the window film is carried out using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be coated and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and apply to the glass surface. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls

In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!

Shopping linear meters from the roll

Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.

Step 1: At “LINEAR METERS”, select the roll width “1.22 m”.

Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field “Add to cart”.

Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.

You then buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.

Ordering millimeter cuttingss

Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: Your window measures 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size is then 1.396 m wide x 1.996 m high.

Step 1: Select “1.52” m roll width at “LINEAR METERS”.

Step 2: Enter “2.00” m at “Add to cart”.

Step 3: Enter width, height and number of pieces, i.e. “1.396 m x 1.996 m, 1 piece” at “CUTTINGS” (free text field).

Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.

You then buy 2.00 linear film meters with a width of 1.52 meters, which are cut to 1 film piece with the desired size of 1.996 m long and 1.396 m wide. The ordered linear meters and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.

Have whole film rolls delivered

Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. To do this, please enter the desired numbers of roll pieces at WHOLE ROLLS. You also can send us an email to service@vonkuester.de. We will then send you an offer that you can then order. Cutting whole rolls to a specific roll width is also possible on request, please contact us.

Free film sample

If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm). It does not need to be returned after testing. Please fill in the fields below so that we know where to send the film sample.
