Description
Powerful solar control for south windows
The sun control film is self-adhesive and is installed to the interior of the window. Heat development is permanently reduced by strong 81%. This noticeably improves the indoor climate. Existing energy and electricity costs for operating air conditioning systems can be reduced in this way. The energy efficiency of the installed window glazing is sustainably increased.
The dark bronze color is ideal for buildings with south-facing windows. The brightness on this side of the building compensates the loss of light caused by the solar coating. This ensures a sufficiently high level of daylight permeability. The reflective heat reduction combines high performance with cost-effectiveness and meets all requirements for solving demanding solar protection projects.
Sun control with an elegant visual statement
✔ When viewed from the outside, the sun control film has a strong mirror effect during the day. It is not possible to see inside from outside during the day, heat reduction and privacy are ideally combined.
✔ When viewed from the inside, an elegant dark bronze tint of the coated glass surface is noticeable. The flat glass film still provides the interior with a very pleasant daylight atmosphere.
✔ The surface of the self-adhesive heat protection film is finished with a scratch-resistant protective layer, which makes it easy to clean with conventional glass cleaning agents.

Retrofitting the window film in a few steps
The bubble-free retrofitting of the window film is done using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be coated and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls
In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!
Shopping linear meters from the roll
Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.
Step 1: At “LINEAR METERS”, select the roll width “1.22 m”.
Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.
Ordering millimeter cuttingss
Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: Your window measures 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size is then 1.396 m wide x 1.996 m high.
Step 1: Select “1.52” m roll width at “LINEAR METERS”.
Step 2: Enter “2.00” m at “Add to cart”.
Step 3: Enter width, height and number of pieces, i.e. “1.396 m x 1.996 m, 1 piece” at “CUTTINGS” (free text field).
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.00 linear film meters with a width of 1.52 meters, which are cut to 1 film piece with the desired size of 1.996 m long and 1.396 m wide. The ordered linear meters and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.
Have whole film rolls delivered
Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. To do this, please enter the desired numbers of roll pieces at WHOLE ROLLS. You also can send us an email to service@vonkuester.de. We will then send you an offer that you can then order. Cutting whole rolls to a specific roll width is also possible on request, please contact us.
Free film sample
If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm).
