Description
Sun control film in dark titanium for south windows
The sun control film is self-adhesive and has a transparent color in dark titanium. It is therefore particularly suitable for window panes that face south. The brightness on this side of the building ensures that the loss of light caused by the sun control film can be compensated very well. This ensures a sufficiently high level of daylight permeability.
Dual-reflective properties characterize this film. It offers a neutral appearance on the room side without annoying light reflections. On the outside, the highly mirrored look provides elegant privacy protection. No visibility is possible in daylight. A permanent clear view of the outside is ensured from the inside. The strong visual appearance ensures an attractive appearance of the entire building.
Strong reflection for maximum performance
The weather-resistant heat protection film is attached to the outside of window panes. The highly reflective surface is a prerequisite for 69% of heat to be shielded from windows and glass panes. The environment inside the room is kept pleasantly cool, comfortable and glare-free. Living comfort and indoor climate are sustainably improved.
The cooled interior reduces energy and power consumption for cooling systems on warm summer days. The wear and tear on ventilation and air conditioning systems can be noticeably reduced. The reduced electricity consumption improves the environmental balance of the building. The heat protection film therefore meets the highest standards of efficiency and energy saving. It is recommended for use in both residential and commercial premises.
Nano coating for long life & easy cleaning
The sun control film was developed in test laboratories using the latest state-of-the-art technology. The sun protection for windows is surface-hardened and equipped with a highly effective nano-coating. It is therefore easy to clean with conventional glass cleaning products and has a long service life.

Long durability and manufacturer’s guarantee
The sun control film has a durability of 10 years or more when used outdoors on vertical glazing (normal Central European climate). When attached to slanted glazing outdoors, the durability is reduced accordingly due to the higher environmental impact.
Regardless of the long durability, a manufacturer’s guarantee of 5 years for vertical and 3 years for inclined glass surfaces is granted (in the fifth year 30% of the film value). The guarantee applies to peeling, yellowing and demetallization of the high-performance film if the edges of the film are sealed all around with silicone.
Application of the window film in just a few steps
The window film is installed without bubbles using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be glued and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls
In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!
Shopping linear meters from the roll
Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.
Step 1: At “LINEAR METERS”, select the roll width “1.22 m”.
Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.
Ordering millimeter cuttingss
Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: Your window measures 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size is then 1.396 m wide x 1.996 m high.
Step 1: Select “1.52” m roll width at “LINEAR METERS”.
Step 2: Enter “2.00” m at “Add to cart”.
Step 3: Enter width, height and number of pieces, i.e. “1.396 m x 1.996 m, 1 piece” at “CUTTINGS” (free text field).
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2.00 linear film meters with a width of 1.52 meters, which are cut to 1 film piece with the desired size of 1.996 m long and 1.396 m wide. The ordered linear meters and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.
Have whole film rolls delivered
Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. To do this, please enter the desired numbers of roll pieces at WHOLE ROLLS. You also can send us an email to service@vonkuester.de. We will then send you an offer that you can then order. Cutting whole rolls to a specific roll width is also possible on request, please contact us.
Free film sample
If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm).
